Instructions for use:
1. Rinse the test tubes thoroughly with water for analysis.
2. Place the colour scale on a well-lit flat surface (not in direct sunlight).
3. Pour 5 ml. of the water to be analysed into both test pieces and insert one (blank) into a hole in the comparator. Place the comparator on the colour scale so that the coloured fields are under the blank test.
4. Add 1 teaspoon of Nitrate reagent to the second tube. Cover and shake vigorously for one minute.
5. Compare the colours from above by pushing the comparator back and forth until you find the colour that matches best, then read the relative concentration of Nitrates.
