Edenya is an activated carbon filter that eliminates chlorine taste and smell. It has a single check-valve which prevents water from returning.
The Edenya o,5 micron large filter has a bayo connection and it is compatible with all the filter’s head.
The Edenya filter guarantee a grade of filtering of 0,5 micron, thanks to combined action of the:
- double surface polyethylene fibre membrane, with its special drain that guarantees an optimum mechanical action, retaining suspended microparticles, rust, mould and algae,
- powdered activated carbon, obtained from coconut, effectively removes chlorine and its derivatives and reduces metals and toxic organic compounds.
Edenya activated carbon 0.5 is recommended:
- in the kitchen (under sink);
- at drinking water sampling points;
- as the last stage of filtration in multiple filtration systems;
- Size:
- Filter height: 525 mm
- Diameter: 79 mm
Features:
- active charcoal powder (PAC)
- grade of filtering of 0.5 micron
- flow: 420 lt/h**
- authonomy: 35000 lt*
- integrated single check-valve
- vertical operation
- temperature: to 3 °C from 30 °C (39°f- 92 °f)
- operating pressure: to 1 from 7 bar (15- 100 psi) no shock
- only for use with drinking water
- equipment complies with: D.M 25/2012 – D.M. 174/2004
- does not require electrical power
- disposable filter
- easy installation and replacement
* For the calculation of the autonomies the presence of 1 ppm of chlorine in the water to be treated is considered.
** Flow may vary depending on inlet pressure.

Attention:
- this equipment requires regular maintenance periodically to ensure the requirements of potability of the drinking water treated and maintenance improvements as declared by the producer. Do not use with undrinkable water. After long periods of inactivity (3/4 weeks) to keep it carefully sanitizing or provide for the replacement of the filter.
- Activation: it is recommended to let the water flow through the filter at maximum pressure and with the maximum flow for a duration of 5 minutes
- The filter must work in a vertical position, it cannot be placed horizontally. This is to prevent air pockets inside the cartridge that could create preferential water routes by reducing the filter capacity and efficiency.
- Cartridge change: it is recommended to change the filter annually and/or every 6 months, when its autonomy is over or when the flow arrives too slow (it falls below 2 l/min)
