Edenya is a 0.5 micron activated carbon filter with the addition of silver salts that acts with a 3-stage filtration:
– mechanical filtration action carried out by a polyethylene fiber membrane which ensures the retention of impurities and suspended substances up to 0.5 microns
– a chemical adsorption action carried out by powdered activated carbon derived from coconut, which eliminates the taste and smell of chlorine in the water,
– Ag principle, silver salts of which the coal is impregnated which prevents bacterial growth in the filter.
Filters with bayonet mount/ rapid system in combination with a special head.
The filter mount is compatible with most commercially available heads.
When to use the Edenya activated carbon filter AG Large
- in the kitchen (under sink)
- at drinking water sampling points;
- as the last stage of filtration in multiple filtration systems;
Technical characteristics
- Filter height: 525 mm
- Diameter: 79 mm
- Flow: 420 lt/h**
- Range*: 35000 lt***
* For the calculation of the autonomies the presence of 1 ppm of chlorine in the water to be treated is considered.
** Flow may vary depending on inlet pressure.
***Internal laboratory determination using Hanna Instruments photometer.
Filter installation
Headboard support
1. Loosen the centre screw (A),
2. unscrew and remove the two side screws (B),
3. position the fixing bracket (C),
4. screw and tighten the two screws (B),
5. tighten the screw (A) thoroughly,
NOTE – The support bracket (C) of the filter head is predisposed for fixing to
wall, through sloped holes (D).
Verify that the area assumed for the placement of the filter is compatible with the rational “turn” of the pipes and their length.
Also check that the presence of the filter and its connections, does not hinder in any way other normal functions, during the exercise of activity.
When fixing the tested unit to the wall, the mounted filter must be at a distance from the ground of at least 10 cm, to allow its replacement. For fixing the bracket, use expansion plugs (in the case of fixing on masonry part), self-tapping screws (in the case of fixing on sheet), wooden screws (in the case of fixing on wooden walls).
Do not use adhesives or adhesive tapes.
