The Edenya Activated Carbon Filter AG Medium is ideal for reducing sedimentation up to 0.5 microns, chlorine, unwanted flavors and odors.
The Edenya AG Medium activated carbon filter acts as a triple action filter system:
-
mechanical filtration action carried out by a membrane of polyethylene fibers, with a large surface area with a degree of filtration of 0.5 microns, with a special drain. This guarantees the retention of impurities and suspended substances;
-
chemical action of absorption is carried out by the powdered activated carbon, obtained from coconuts, which eliminates the excess of chlorine present in the water and any metals or toxic compounds;
-
Ag principle, that is the silver salts of which the coal is impregnated, plays an important bacteriostatic action preventing bacteria from proliferating inside the filter.
When to use the Edenya activated carbon filter AG Medium
- in the kitchen (under sink)
- at drinking water sampling points;
- as the last stage of filtration in multiple filtration systems;
Technical features
- Filter height: 375 mm
- Diameter: 79 mm
- Flow: 350 lt/h**
- Range*: 15000 lt**** For the calculation of the autonomies is considered the presence of 1 ppm of chlorine in the water to be treated.** Flow may vary depending on inlet pressure.***Internal laboratory determination using Hanna Instruments photometer.
Headboard support
1. Loosen the centre screw (A),
2. unscrew and remove the two side screws (B),
3. position the fixing bracket (C),
4. screw and tighten the two screws (B),
5. tighten the screw (A) thoroughly,
NOTE – The support bracket (C) of the filter head is predisposed for fixing to
wall, through sloped holes (D).
Verify that the area assumed for the placement of the filter is compatible with the rational “turn” of the pipes and their length.
Also check that the presence of the filter and its connections, does not hinder in any way other normal functions, during the exercise of activity.
When fixing the tested unit to the wall, the mounted filter must be at a distance from the ground of at least 10 cm, to allow its replacement. For fixing the bracket, use expansion plugs (in the case of fixing on masonry part), self-tapping screws (in the case of fixing on sheet), wooden screws (in the case of fixing on wooden walls).
Do not use adhesives or adhesive tapes.
