The REFINER Filter operates as a dual-action filtration system:
– mechanical filtration is carried out by a polyethylene fibre membrane with a large surface area and a filtration rating of 0.5 microns, fitted with a dedicated drain. This ensures that impurities and suspended solids are retained;
– chemical adsorption is carried out by powdered activated carbon, derived from coconut shells, which removes excess chlorine from the water, as well as any metals and toxic compounds;
We recommend using our REFINER filter cartridges:
– in the kitchen (under the sink)
– at water taps used for food preparation;
– as the final stage of filtration in multi-stage filtration systems;
