Ionicore Granular Activated Carbon Cartridge (GAC) 10″

GAC Series Cartridges dramatically reduce the odor, color and taste of chlorine in drinking water. The structure allows water to pass through the carbon bed before exiting the cartridge, while an internal relief minimizes the formation of excluded zones. A 20 micron post-filter removes carbon dust and other suspended particles, securely secured by an innovative mount to eliminate potential leaks.

Do not use where the water is microbiologically hazardous or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. Systems certified to reduce cysts can be used on disinfected water with filterable cysts. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintaining systems.

Note: The pollutants removed or reduced by this system may not be present in your water.

Activation: A drinking water cartridge may contain fine carbon residues (very fine black powder). It is advisable to let the water flow through the filter at maximum pressure and with maximum flow rate, for at least 5 minutes to allow the air and residues present in the cartridge to purge.
Cartridge change: When the capacity has reached, or when the flow arrives too slowly (drops below 0.7bar/10psi), every 6 months.
