How a connection using Super Speedfit fittings works
To make a connection, simply insert the pipe into the fitting: the patented John Guest crimping mechanism holds the pipe securely in place without deforming it or reducing the flow rate.
How to use quick-connect fittings
Cut the section of pipe to be inserted into the fitting.
– Make sure you use a clean tube with no foreign matter or cracks
– Remove any blockages and sedimentation before inserting the tube fully.
– Inserting the pipe requires moderate force. Do not scratch or damage the pipe during this process, as this could
cause water leaks.
– Gently pull on the hose to check that it is correctly fitted
To disconnect the fitting
– Ensure that the system is not under pressure
– Pull back the fitting’s collar and disconnect the hose
