General information
Proper start-up of reverse osmosis water treatment systems is essential to prevent membrane damage due to supercharging or hydraulic shock and ensure higher performance.
Before starting the reverse osmosis system check the proper installation of membranes, calibration of instruments and other control systems.
During start-up, a gradual rise in pressure is recommended within 30-60 seconds.
To ensure the longest life of the membranes it is necessary to keep the filtering elements always moist after the first wetting.
To prevent biological growth during prolonged periods of system inactivity, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution.
