Filter can be utilized in various applications to correct low pH levels, polish water, brew better tasting coffee, tea, or other beverages (or in numerous other food service applications), as a post filter in many reverse osmosis systems, and more. It reduces the bad taste and odor of chlorine as well as sediment and increases the pH level of water via the re-mineralization of soft, acidic, or low pH water – calcite is a natural mineral which dissolves in acidic water to raise its pH to neutral.
Post filter for osmosis composed of: 50% Calcite + 20% Charcoal GAC coconut + 30% Magnesium Corosex. Proportion releasing filter 2:1 ( 2x calcite / 1x corosex).
Features:
- Autonomy: 750 gallons (2,800L) max. 6 months
- Range: 0.5 gpm (1.9L/min)
- Operating temperature: 35 – 113 ºF (2 – 45 ºF)
- Operating pressure: 20-60 psi (1.4-4.13 bar)
Activation: it is advisable to run water through the filter at maximum pressure and full flow, for at least 3 minutes to allow the purging of air and the washing of the filter.
Filter replacement: when capacity is reached or when flow is too slow, max. 6 months.
Do not use where the water is microbiologically hazardous or of unknown quality without proper disinfection upstream and after the system.
Note: Pollutants removed or reduced by this system are not necessarily in your water.
