Coconut Carbon Block inline filter 2″ x 10″ coconut with 1/4″ female threaded connections and 10 microns filtration
The carbon block filter reduces unwanted smells and flavors such as chlorine, avoids the passage of sedimentation such as rust and sometimes suspended material such as mold or algae.
Why is it used in reverse osmosis systems?
- improves water taste
- protects against corrosion, blockage and wear,
- can be installed both vertically or horizontally
- easy to replace without the use of special tool
Technical sheet
Range: 1,500 gallons (5670 L) max 1 year
Flow rate: 0.39 gpm (1.5L/min)
Pressure: 8.6bar (125psi)
Temperature: 35 – 100°F (2 – 38°C)
Dimensions: 50×254(mm.) – 2”x10″(In.)
When installing:
It is advisable to let the water flow through the filter at maximum pressure and with maximum flow rate, for at least 5 minutes to allow the air present in the cartridge to bleed.
Cartridge change:
When capacity has arrived or when flow arrives too slowly (it drops below 0.7bar/10psi) the cartridge must be changed, every 6 months or once a year.
Warning:
Do not use where water is microbiologically hazardous or of unknown quality without adequate sanification both upstream and downstream the system.
All systems must be maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Note: Pollutants removed or reduced by this system are not necessarily in your water.
