Inline GAC Double filters contain granular activated carbon.
Particularly suitable where a high degree of adsorption of chlorine and/or organic substances present in water in high concentrations is necessary.
The filter module, made of polypropylene fibers, thus retains the coarsest impurities, ensuring a reduced loss of load and improving the appearance and taste of the treated water, while the Ag principle, or the silver salts in which the coal is impregnated, plays an important bacteriostatic action, preventing bacteria from proliferating inside the filter.
Equipped on the inlet side with two couplings for quick coupling:
- A 12 mm diameter for water inlet and 1/ 4” for water withdrawal for by-pass
- B spigot outlet connection for 3/8” quick coupling
In-line filter specific for reverse osmosis systems containing granular activated carbon derived from coconuts. Ideal for removing chlorine, turbidity, organic chemicals, herbicides, pesticides and chemicals that cause bad tastes, odors and more.
In-line activated carbon filters are often used in microfiltration systems and reverse osmosis systems where they take on a protective role against the membrane, improving its durability over time.
- Maximum adsorption capacity;
- Minimum flow loss and maximum flow rate;
- Better quality of water;
- Simplicity of use.
Technical characteristics:
- Connections: cog ø12mm – cog ø1/4″mm – cog 3/8″
- Flow: 540 l/h
- Battery life: 6000 l
- Technology: GAC granular activated carbon derived from silver-ion coconuts to prevent bacterial proliferation
Granular activated carbon physically obtained from coconut shells and subsequently impregnated with silver salts. It is particularly suitable for the treatment of drinking water, where it is necessary to remove chlorine and its derivatives, micropollutants (such as trialometans), pesticides, as well as improving taste and smell.
Performance: Flow – Pressure
The purpose of the test is the definition of a flow/pressure curve typical of the GAC Double.
